I'm Trevor Lindsay

Data Scientist | Problem Solver

Instagram data scientist, passionate about technology, addicted to pizza.

Hello, My Name is Trevor.

Born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Curious and ambitious data guy with a knack for solving unstructured and complicated problems.

I currently work as a data scientist on the Shopping team within Instagram. I'm focused on ranking, quality and growth with the ultimate goal of personalizing and growing a healthy ecosystem across all of our shopping surfaces.

I am also the lead instructor for General Assembly's part-time data science program. Through 60 hours of instruction, I teach students common data science techniques with a focus on exploratory data analysis, statistics and predictive modeling.

Before Facebook, I was a Live Operations Manager at Machine Zone (the gaming company befind Game of War: Fire Age and Mobile Strike). While there, I spent most of my time analyzing user data and building models of user behavior to improve monetization and retention.

I graduated with honors from Georgia Tech in 2014 with a BS in Economics. My coursework focused on applied microeconomics and my honors thesis was titled The Law and Economics of Merger Enforcement and Innovation.
